Today, I did a bit of work on the snout of the Vans Air Box, adding some foam to make a better transition to the cowling. It will take a day to dry. I finished the last two prop nuts, and was successful in bringing the safety wire in from the other side. Basically, I backed it off, got the safety wire through, then retorqued. I added some more adel clamps to hold wires properly, and also grounded the Reif heater on the oil pan. I also finished off the prop, throttle and mixture controls, adding the final cotter pins. Finally, I added cotter pins to the four engine mount bolts.
