Today, I made three trips to my friends, Joe Creason, who owns Creason Racing Engines. Joe makes high end engines for dirt track racing across the midwest. Joe is helping me modify the exhaust I purchased from another individual. We are modifying it from the last cylinder back by adding a ball joint and running it straight down under the ending mounts. Joe is doing the welding for me. Second, I began installing the engine instrumentation. I added all the cylinder heat temp probes except one that I need to work on the threads first. I believe there is one buggered thread at the beginning of the female hole in the cylinder head. I'll need to splice all these. I purchased a used VM1000C from Stein and they had simply cut the harness. It has all six CHT and six EGT probes. Finally, I reinstalled the Carb Air Filter Box.
