Today, my wife helped me to reinstall the cowling. Ugh -- with the new engine mounts, it didn't fit. It is 3/4 of an inch too long, and 1 inch too low. So, we removed it, and I took the prop off. It was a mistake putting it on again, but I am getting good at it. I will have to do some rework on the cowling, not simple as I used Skybolt fasteners so have holes all along the edges. The mating surface between the top and bottom should be ok, but I'll have to rework the aft and upper edges. I then spent some time installing the oil cooler. It fit really well.
