I spent the day covering the stiffeners with fiberglass cloth. My first mistake was to not cut the cloth on the bias, and it didn't tuck around the edges very well. So, one side is tucked in better than the first. I also tired some epoxy on a couple. Either worked ok. The cowling is now really stiff. I still have some sanding and a couple more to complete. Then we'll put it back on and see how it works.
