Today, I began the process of refitting my already fitted cowling to the engine with the new engine mounts. The good news is that it pushed back far enough the existing Skybolt holes will not be an issue. They will get trimmed off and or be on the edge and easily filled. The hard part is drilling the new holes in the exact place. To help with this, I'm using the Skybolt provided hole finders and shining a light through the #30 hole. So far I only have one off center. I will also have to move one of the Skybolt brackets, but everything else looks doable. In the process today, I made a new round piece of wood for a spacer on the prop hub.
