Today, I cut the Lexan to fit the opening, and then made the channels. I used a shrinker I purchased at Harbor Freight to make the channels. It worked great with 1/2 x 3/4 inch soft aluminum angle I bought at Home Depot. The angle was 1/16 inch thick. I doubt it would work on anything thicker due to the jaw opening size.
