Today, I began to work on the wing root fairings but then realized I needed the windshield on first. In the process, I decided to first remove the upper dash piece and cut two large holes that would allow me better access to the aft end of the radios if necessary. I spent most of the day cutting them out and fabricating covers, installing rivnuts, and then putting the whole thing back together.
