Today, Ruth and I set the dihedral on the right wing. 1 degree equals approx 3.4 inches out at the tip. First, I set it with the level per the manual, then we fine tuned it with my water level. I then fit the wing strut fittings, and backdrilled holes through the piece of plywood per the manual. I spent quite a bit of time aligning the plywood on the 1.5 inch square tubing as the two fittings were not perfectly aligned, much like the left wing. So, it was split the difference again. I then rough cut the tuning fork ends out of the tube and will head for Charlies to finish it on the milling machine on Friday.
