Brief Description: Panel Wiring
|
|
Today, I wired up several more ground wires, and began running the wires to the DC Master Power Switch. Then, I ran out of Fast On Terminals -- they are on order, so I'll wait. Then, I turned my attention to the wire bundles that go out to the wings. I took the two front corner pieces, cleaned and primed the inside, then cut and fit the vibration absorbing insulation on the inside. I also drilled a hole and inserted a grommet for a wire pass through. In the first image, you can see a bundle (Tru-Trak Digitrak) going up the post. It goes through another grommet on the ceiling. This will all be under the windshield, and wil be covered with a spiral wrap and secured. You won't see it from the cabin. I then installed the Safe-Air fittings on the static instruments, and rant the various tubes to and from. I still need to decide on the final location for the static ports.
