Today, we worked to complete the FUS 422 lower tail wrap. We were able to successfully drill it out on the bulkhead in front despite it being sandwiched between the outer skin and the bulkhead. We drew a reference line on the inside and used it to line up the tabs as they move when you slide the tail wrap in place. Finally, we trimmed and final sanded to a line, then deburred, cleaned and primed it and reinstalled with 100% clecos. We then began work on the Vertical fin spar caps. They should be completed today.
