On Ted Waltman's recommendation, I cut a hardwood dowel and drilled a small hole in one end to insert 1/8 inch rivets. Now, instead making my fingers very sore pushing rivets into holes, I just insert the rivet into the dowel and use the dowel to push the rivet into the hole. It would be better if I could fashion a knob on the butt end of the dowel to better fit into the palm of my hand.
