Brief Description: alteration of main spar for ER fuel tanks
Since the ER fuel tanks are extended 2 additional bays outboard an extra rib is used.
In this step I clecoed the template to the stock rib attach holes. I then match drilled the new holes in template to the spar. I then deburred all new holes.
DRILLING ANY HOLES IN THESE VERY COSTLY WING SPARS MUST BE DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. YOU WILL REGRET MAKING ANY MISTAKES SO PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME!
I did not make any mistakes thus far so lets hope it continues. :-)
