Brief Description: Cutting Bottom Skin Extra Access Panel ER tanks
I have to make another access panel for the ER tanks I installed according to Sky Designs instructions. In the below photos you see a quick rough cut in the center of the bottowm skin. This allowed me to install screws through spar to hold template in place while I match drill the holes. Initially drilled #40 but final drilled #19 for the access panel screws.
I scored with box cutter and cut on line. I then filed .05 past score mark for painting gap. All went well. Still have to do some final touch ups on the new access panel. Its getting late and I have to travel for work tomorrow.
I love feeling like progress is being made:-) It gives me more motivation:-)
