I have been working the past several days seeing to the floor of the cockpit. The plan calls for a thin plywood floor. I applied 2 coats of varnish and a coat of polyurethane for scuff resistance. However being on the larger size, I didn't want to accidentally run my foot through the wood only floor. I have cut out and fitted .025" 6061 T6 Aliminum as a subfloor to re-inforce the wooden floor. I will wait until the remaining controls and such have been installed, to complete the final installation. N817JH
