Brief Description:  The FAA couldn't stump me!

Today I headed down to the Nashville FSDO where I was expecting a nice older gentlemen to look over this build log and give me my repairman certificate. NOT. When I arrived there were 2 retired army mechanics who were new to the FSDO and would conduct the session in the presence of the nice older gentleman. OH gosh. It was their mission to look smarter than me and "teach" me something. NICE TRY. 2 hours of drilling me about the airframe and not only did I answer each question but I went into physics, Chemical processes, and engineering specs that they didn't expect. let's just say that at the end they were exhausted and couldn't pull anything out of their bag o' tricks, while I was ready to go into overtime! LOL.
All in all, they were nice people in training and I understand the approach. I was given several compliments and 3 fantastic hand shakes on my way out. This was IT for me. No more BIG FAA hoops to jump through and I sure as heck won't be hiring an A&P :). Time to FLY!
