Brief Description:  N316NM is airworthy

Today marks the end of an amazing journey and the start of a new one. A new journey that thrives in the reward of refusing to give up. I've been told by several people over the last 3 years that after lift off on the first flight, all the hard work will be worth it!
Bruce Bolton came over today, looked over the aircraft again for a few minutes, and then sat down with me to finish up the paperwork. I couldn't help but smile when he presented me with the official airworthiness certificate. I then went back into the hangar, looked at this bird in amazement and polished her up a bit more before closing up the hangar. So strange to drive down the road without a million "to-do's" going through my head. All the work going forward will be focused on engine temps and reducing drag. But by this time next week, she will leave earth for the first time. :) You could say I'm excited.
