Right here is the 3rd prop I've got from Gary Hertzler. It's a 62x68. Static RPM is only 2330 however I'm shocked how much acceleration I'm getting which is a huge tribute to the light weight of this bird. Still, the Static RPM is off by a good 500 so instead of getting ANOTHER Prop, I'm investigating the engine. I've heard of people saying that the 6 should be REALLY smooth at all RPM's and mine has a couple RPM's that seem rough. I've also been told that since my engine sat for 12 months without being run, that chances are, my injectors are gummed up. Good news is that pulling them off and cleaning/replacing them should be fairly ez. I'll be cleaning them on monday as well as going ahead with a compression check that will also confirm or deny an problem areas. My HUNCH is that Cylinder #4 has the worst injector, being that it's the hottest cylinder by a stretch of 100 degrees! This is without cooling plenums so in open air, the temps should be closer together.
