Brief Description: Engine mount bolts need attention
When I bought my engine, the guy who welded up the mount sent me a set of bolts for mounting the engine to the mount. They are odd 8mm bolts and came in black steel. Problem is that they began to rust. BAD. I decided to put them in vinegar for a while and the rust really softened up. I then took a scotchbrite pad to them and got em really cleaned up well. But now, I needed a way to keep the rust away. Well, rustoleum hammered paint is perfect for that. I sprayed all the bolts with 2 coats, then baked em for 30 minutes at 170 deg. They turned out perfect. Now a little corrosion X on the threads and we're in business :)
