Brief Description:  Pipes n plugs

Looking back at the last 4 years of this build, I've come to conclude that if you want to be a pioneer on a subject matter, it will inevitably include a high failure rate before finding something successful in the journey. While i have no issues with this process, there are certain tasks that are more headache than reward. One of the those would be this exhaust pipe coating issue. In reading more in depth online about user reviews concering the VHT header paint, the ceramic qualities it has are very minimal comparred to a true ceramic coating system. While the ceramic coating is more pricey, it also guarantees that once I install these pipes, I won't have to remove them again, due to a "nice try" attempt at using the VHT Paint. The paint really does look fantastic, but I need fuction over looks for this one.
I found that http://www.experimentalexhaust.com/ will apply a 1700 degree true ceramic coating for only $30 a pipe. That's a great price comparred to JET HOT's quote of over $800! So I boxed em up, and sent em out to be coated. This will ensure it works the first time :)
In other news, I re-installed my spark plugs and will be tackling my list of 100hr maintenance issue this week including a valve adjustment if needed AND a major lower cowling re-shape. Good fun times here :)
