Brief Description:  Plenum mod and test flight

I was able to bake a 4 ply layup of Carbon and Glass, cut them to size and install them in both plenums. The oven bake made it possible to install them and test fly the airplane today as well. so cool :) So the front 2 cylinder have been by far the coolest temp wise. Today's test flight showed that they worked extemely well. in fact too well :) Now cylinder number 6 is the warmest one. This means I can start dialing them in to match each other AND most importantly, it puts them all into the green. However, I'm now starting to wonder if my engine performace is starting to suffer due to lack of air. My new plugs only got me up to 2200 static again which isn't good at all. Climb rate needs to be double what it is and I really need 2350 as a min. I'm going to remove the 2, 1" tubes and fly her tomorrow to confirm this is the reason for low static rpm. This of course will drastically raise my CHT's as the back end of the plenum will now be open, but I'm still a good 50 degrees away from max continuous temp. Heck, it may be the final CHT solution. lol. Either way, the mod worked great and soon I'll have them dialed in.
