Brief Description:  Induction box sees fiberglass

I'm very decided on this new induction box idea but I'm struggling to find enough room for a filter large enough to let the engine breathe. I built the foam box per my measurements but still found it too tall for the space in between the intake plenum and top cowling. The cowling contours are perfect and I won't be changing them so I've either got to get really tight inside this box, or ditch the idea due to the lack of air filters that will work in this spot. Fortunately, my enthusiasm for this idea is leading me to think this will still work out. I haven't got the filter in hand yet, so I'm trusting my rough measuring skills. Most of the problem is trying to measure the installation area while the cowling is on...almost impossible. However, there's a solution to every problem and a "right" way to do almost anything, so I went ahead and starting glassing the Box after a little sanding. 2 plies of "Home Depot" BID all over took several layup schedules and trips to the kitchen oven, but by morning I'll be able to start designing and cutting out the filter access panel. :)
