Ever had those days where everything you thought would take an hour took 5? Ya, that was today. I made a mock up air filter box to check the fit inside the cowling and the box ended up being too tall. Grr, it's alright, I'll just need to verfiy that a smaller box won't be restrictive to airflow to the filter. That's easy to test when it's done. I then began routing the oil breather exit tube where its needed to be all along just like all those lycoming installs. I ordered a piece of SS tubing and connected the rubber hose which took a lot longer than I thought due to the fact that the cowling was now hitting the new tube so that meant lowering the exhaust pipes. AND that meant on BOTH sides so they would look the same. I'll start working on the box tomorrow and hopefully have the induction system done next week. Then it's on to the oil cooler exit plan of action...which I don't have yet :)
