Brief Description: A little concerning for my uneducated mind
UL Power engines are NOT made to run 100LL. Fact. However, adding Decalin should be a cure for lead issues. However, I went to remove one of the paper towel plugs I had in an exhaust port to remove the copper sealing ring and a whole bunch of crap came out. What the! Like chips of paint that were obviously made of Carbon and probably lead. My concern is that the guys running straight 100LL are having to do a top end overhaul after only 400hrs which I'm trying to avoid. Now I'm not an engine guy so I can't look at the picture I attached and tell if this is normal or reason for concern so I'm all ears!
