So, one area that UL power didn't get right is the attach method for the CHT cooling plenum boxes. Just a bolt head torqued down on to the thin aluminum with no washer. SOOOO, after only 70 hrs, the aluminum split and failed. Can't fly like this, so I decided to solve the issue, I will form a strip of UNI on both sides of the aluminum that will be bonded on permanently to re-enforce the bolt location while stiffening things up a bit as well. This, again, won't be my final plenums and I do intend to create new All Carbon plenums in the future. However, this will do until then.
