Brief Description:  Big Change coming soon

Today was the Real beginning of big change coming soon. This oil cooler business has been so educational. You'd think by now I'd lose my mind and patience but going into "not fun" 100+ degree days, I'd rather not be flying anyway. Great time to make big changes.
I removed the ECU and exhaust pipes and packed em up to be shipped off to Belgium for another Dyno run. This time I hope they get that stuttering solved. It's getting real old.
I then removed the prop, oil cooler, plenum, ducting, intake plenums and oil lines. I then had a thought that this all might be related to a bad Vernatherm so I took it off as well. Went home, boiled the vernatherm and confirmed it's working just like it needs to. Oh, and I drained the oil as well. Fresh oil cooler deserves fresh oil :)
After all this sweat work it was time to work out the brain muscle. I've decided to go with Jack Morrisons oil cooler intake design that he uses with his DD setup like mine. It's also going to fall in line with Wayne Blackler's setup. Both extremely fast birds. I've been scribbling and measuring and cutting and fitting all night and will probably start on the NACA vent mold by tomorrow!
8 row SW style cooler is on it's way. Bigger, better, more efficent, Papa Johns....LOL.
