Brief Description:  Glory Glory hallelujah!

I love those old Hyms..."His truth is marching on!"
So The new Cooler lines were perfect. Installation was pain free and everything clears nicely. After Hot oil runs through those lines, they will settle into their position even better. With the new cooler ready, the new ECU plugged in, it was time to test run this B. It was 30 degrees in the Hangar and she hadn't run in about 2 weeks now, and considering the sub zero temps, the battery wasn't in the mood to crank that prop very long. I had to grab my truck battery to get her to crank over and fire up. After the engine started I immediately noticed how much smoother it was running with the new ECU, I let her warm up a bit then started moving the throttle forward and found that there was a LOT less vibration at all RPM ranges, and the throttle response was much smoother than with the other ECU. This concludes that all of my engine stuttering had been due to a poor ECU fuel mapping tune. Now this ECU was tuned for their 3 into 1 exhaust system and not mine, so I still need to flight test it to see if there are any other small issues. However, 90% better performance already :) In flight, if there is still slight stuttering, it will mean the exhaust and ECU go back to Belgium for a TRUE Dyno Tune with my pipes. However, I'm a little tempted to develop a really sexy 3-into1 setup FIRST and then allow them to final tune it if it needs it.... Now I need this snow to MELT!!!!
