Brief Description:  Second chances

So this morning RIGHT before deciding to paint the cooler plenum, I gave it a quick scrub with Acetone and to my amazement, the botched clear coat came right off! It must have needed to fully cure before the acetone could really do it's work, but it was a snap to clean it up. SOOO I decided against the paint and added 2 more coats of clear that I WON'T be wet sanding :) This part is now officially complete.

Note: the sides were bent down at a 30 degree angle on purpose to help reduce the amount of red RTV that will be needed for a good seal to the cooler. RED rtv is LEGIT and cleaning it off is NO fun, so after it sets I hope to NEVER have to remove the plenum. Not a single molecule will escape. :) ok well, maybe a couple...
