Got the engine fired up again and had to proceed to test out the temps, now that I have a working oil temp sender. pshhh. Anyways, it was awesome! Oil temps reached a high of 222 which doesn't tell me much with the cowling off and doing taxi runs, but at least it wasn't in the red! I did 3 high speed taxi tests, 2 of which I rotated at 60kts and got to feel the canard flying. SO COOL!!!!! It was really really stable and I was surprized how easy it was to hold it there without bobbing up and down even on the first run! The confidence in this airplane is growing every time I fire it up. Flying is only days away!!!!
