Brief Description:  Programming and taxi runs

Interesting things happened today. First, I plugged in some different parameters to the EFIS that allowed me to get more accurate temps and pressure readings including MAP and fuel pressure. All temps and pressures are within spec for the UL except for CHT's due to the lack of plenums so the airflow is erratic. The REALLY cool thing is that I can plug my laptop into the UL Power ECU and get all the sensor info on my screen to cross check the EFIS info. THAT is cool and also proved that 1 MAJOR change needs to happen. I've got the WRONG prop. Ironically I got a call from Gary Hertzler today where he apologized for sending me the wrong prop for the job. He's got a Brand new 62x78 coming to me in 2 weeks. It's the prop he sells for the o-290 engine and he claims I should see about 2450rpm which is "good enough" for test flights. My goal is to see 2800 static and 3150 WOT, so we will have to see what this prop will offer us. If this one doesn't work then he will keep sending me props until we find the right one. Great service and not a penny out of my pocket.
