Brief Description:  Forward lip addition

There's got to be 100 ways to skin a cat with this one, but right before I was ready to start adding the forward lip to the new cowling addition I had a great Idea. Instead of using plexiglass like I used on the wings, I found that using sticky back 80 grit sand paper, I could get a really good straight and solid base foundation for the layups. I added the 80 grit to the bottom of the cowl, then added several layers of alternating aluminum foil tape and 80 grit to build up the thickness to match the cowling. Now I was left with a totally flush transition to layup my 4 plies Carbon lip. Boom! Worked great and was easy. I didn't follow the small turn to allow some flex in the cowling during installation and removal. After this all post cures and I'm ready to turn it into a Plug for Cowling v2, I'll finish it all off :) I probably could have got away with 3 plies carbon, but I'm planning on the need to sand it a bit for a nice flush fit to the fuselage so I wanted the thickness there to work with.
