Brief Description:  This may be a miracle about to happen

So I found a forum on the Vans Airforce site that has been really blowing up. A guy put a section of aluminum honeycomb just ahead of this throttle body and was reporting Higher static RPM, better fuel economy, and leveled CHT and EGT temps. Well of course I'm going to be a sceptic about the magical honeycomb fix he claimed....UNTIL I saw the results. He posted before and after pics of his flight data recordings and I was AMAZED how affective this little thing is. Not to mention how low the price is for this stuff. I ordered some right away and got it today in the mail. I took a piece and trimmed it down to a diameter of 1.93" which fit snuggly inside the 2" tube for the oil cooler. Now this may or may not help Oil temps, but it WILL keep small animals and large bugs OUT of the scoop so it's a win win.
I purchased enough to cover the throttle body intake as well as the cylinder Intake plenums. I'm going to fly with and without them on those 2 to see if my engine runs stronger and better as well.
IF they work for my fuel injected engine then I'd say that every aircraft should have these installed if for no other reason that it keeps birds out when parked. Can't go wrong here. Stay tuned for testing when she takes to the skies again.
I also added a round of filler to clean up the intake transition to the cowling. Sanding tomorrow.
