Brief Description:  Top and Bottom Stiffeners added

I love blue foam, I love blue foam! lol. I added another strip of blue foam to the top cowling and prepped BOTH cowls for UNI and Carbon. First ply was UNI spanwise, then Carbon BID. 2 plies "should" be enough, but adding more stiffeners should easily be a 1 day job if needed. One HUGE benefit of adding these stiffeners is a "last chance" to shape the cowling. For example, the left lower trailing edge is slightly lower than the right so I propped it up using a stand and it will stay there for the next 48 hours. I'm hoping this will be just enough to keep it in this position after cure. Of course if it doesn't work, theres always the good ol post cure method, BUT if not done BEFORE the engine post cures it, then it will be permanent.
I'm extremely pleased with the job I did and am looking forward to seeing how this cowl turns out. I believe she will be airborne in the next 2 weeks. STOKED!
