I spent the first half of the day prepping and laying up 1 ply of UND glass on the forward lip of the cowling. Tomorrow after cure, the aluminum guide will be removed and the cowling trimmed up and cleaned up for another round of test fitting. In certain sections, even the UND wouldn't take a 90 bend very well and the application of peel ply was my saving grace to hold things down in position.
