Surprisingly, the cowling was beyond the knif trim stage this morning and cured enough to remove from the mold. I used the Fein to cut a rough border, then sanded the edges. The actual trimmed lengths will be determined when fitting it to the airframe. So far I am extremely pleased with the results and don't think an additional ply of Carbon will be necessary, however, after adding the support rail under the aft end, we'll know for sure. Not much time to work today as I've got word the wife may be home in a matter of days, so its a day to clean the house!
