Last night I weighed my finished wing and it came to only 75lbs! I was worried that Z-Grip would be substantially heavier than super fill or some other ungodly expensive filler that is recommended. 75lbs is right where it should be and this wing needed quite a bit of filler in order to get a smooth contour. Nothing too thick but more than there should have been due to poor layup work from the other builder. I'm SOLD SOLD SOLD on Z-Grip and just talked to the guy who wrote the article about it several years ago and he is still flying his Z-grip finished Varieze and the finish is still going strong! Love it!
