The new TP Tools primer is amazing stuff. 2 coats and it still takes forever to cut through to the layers beneath. Even 80 grit scratches were gone with those 2 coats, making this the fastest way to finished product. I had a little white epoxy primer left over so I shot 1 coat of that over both cowls but it didn't offer complete coverage so I went straight for the TP Tools primer and shot 2 coats on top of that but this time thinned 25% as recommended and it layed out really smooth. Next up is a 320 grit wet sand and these guys are ready for installation on the bird. Greg Cross will be coming by Monday to help install the wings to the airframe so I can start getting these cowls installed and finished up. Not sure if I'll need to re-enforce them or add glass and nutplates to secure them to each other, but I'll find out this next week. Aren't they purdy..
