Brief Description:  devils in the details...

I've been experiencing an annoying reality with the primer I use. The enduro prime is awesome and affordable, but takes a good 3 days to cure and even longer in these winter temps. Wet sanding is the way to go before full cure, but still I'm tearing the finish at times. This creates the need for additional filler. Still, $50 a gallon is much better than $250 for the big name stuff. I'll take the savings. I spent today tackling the more fine details like finessing the cowl to fuselage line one last time, and contouing the curves of the sumps even better.
After laying down 2 more light coats of primer, I'm certain the next round will be the last. Only minor places to repair and shape and the vast majority of the fuselage is paint ready :) You have no idea how tempted I am to lay down a nice warm silver pearl paint while she's inverted. I'll fight the urge :)
