Brief Description:  Micro round one

Really really dy micro is by far the lightest solution when it comes to filler, but also very problematic in that it develops thousands of pin holes on the surface. These pin holes require several steps and a lot of time to completely fill. Therefore, with a small weight penalty, a more wet micro is preferable. I lathered on a thick layer of this runny peanut butter like micro all over the top of the winglets after post curing the glass I laid up last night. After cure the mounting holes will be drilled and prepped for micro and the bottom will get the same micro treatment. I'm considering installing a tube through the foam that will act as a conduit for the screws, but will need to find the right stuff. We'll see how things progress as this won't be pulled on and off hardly at all and the conduit may be unnecessary.
