It's really nice finally seeing my fuel sump back in primer again. What an ugly and no-fun repair job that was. I still have a few voids to fill and places to contour but this is a milestone. The cowling also got 2 thick brushed coats of primer all over and will need a bit a z-grip for final contour. no big deal. I'm gonna fly her first though. Finally, I decided instead of buying more cans of clear coat, I'd use the last one I had left to spray 1 coat over the top of the canard and call it done for now. Tomorrow I will wet sand it down to help with the surface texture but again, I need to get her flying again and will go with what I have as I ponder my future paint job. Boy do I still love the color though ;)
