It's insane how much micro was required to match the contour template. And 5 hours of block sanding is a real fun time, let me tell ya. Before stepping down the grit, I took it outside, spray painted it black and let her post cure in the sun for about 2 hours at 160 degrees. I then added the super dry micro to the elevators as well as a slurry coat to seal up the glass that I sanded into last night. Tomorrow, the canard will get final sanded and skim coated with 3 coats before she gets wrapped up and ready to rock! I'm projecting i'll have them back on the plane by mid next week.
