Brief Description:  Holy speed batman. and Primer to go

I wanted to tackle the pesky fit issue I have with the cowl/scoop intersection today. But before I did, I wanted to remove that waste of a belly scoop and install a new VG. I then went for a test flight and my gosh! First, I should say that I tightened up the hose that connected the induction tube so I know there would be more pressure to the engine. But DANG! The air was rough so I couldn't get her to hold an altitude too well but I was seeing up to 181kts true!!! My guess is that I was averaging 178kts which puts me another 2kts faster than the last flight! Geez. Oh and my RPM was 2960!!!! That's another 50rpm! Climbing out at 1400ft a minute makes me think this prop may actually be the ticket. Hope Catto sends me one amazing prop cause this one is rockin! I brought the cowl and scoop home and was able to fair the intersection down a bit for a better fit as well. I then sprayed 2 coats of primer for this weekend's flight :) I sure hope I don't get busted for breaking the sound barrier. :)
