The Grand adventure of fun today was to sand sand sand. My goal today was to sand and contour the ailerons as agressively as I needed in order to get these ailerons to a better contour and balance. And BOY was it a success. 6 hours of Sanding using 36 grit then up to 80 grit. I even was able to add Z-Grip to the lighter aileron to achieve not only better balance but identical weights between the 2 ailerons. So basically, I was able to sand off up to 1/2 lb of filler and primer on each aileron and now BOTH are TOP skin level and BOTH are exactly 7lbs 1.2oz. Tomorrow I will be spraying my guide coat primer, then filling all voids with micro. Should have these babies ready to rock and roll by the weekend :)
