Brief Description:  Interior paint

After sanding down every little spot filler all over the aircraft I headed over to the house to grab my AWESOME Marquee interior paint for touch up work. But when I opened it up, I saw that it had settled and needed to be mixed again. Well... not really. I has been sitting for about a year now and the paint was done. knowing that I really don't want to spend another 50 bucks for a gallon of "touch up paint" I decided to see what I could do to revive what I had. Well after adding 2 cups of water and using a drill to mix it up, I was able to get a bit out that would work or so I hope. I dabbed in on all over and put 2 good coats on for good coverage but it didn't lay down like good fresh paint. I'm hoping tomorrow that I can take some 1500 grit to it and match the surrounding areas.
The Marquee line only comes in quarts if you select a Semi-gloss or high gloss finish and it's still like $25. That would require me to really get creative in sanding it to match the surrounding sheen. Not sure what I'll do down the road about spot repair as I'd rather not spend $50 for a gallon I don't need. Still, not a huge issue but one that makes me kind of wish I went with a semi-gloss finish.
