Brief Description: Sump filler and pee tube design
Well, my micro job under the sump went really well. After sanding it only needed a few spots of z-grip in prep for primer. I'm sure I'll have a few more rounds of filler before it's ready to show off at oshkosh but that's no big deal. I also used Z-grip to start a pee tube fairing that I'm hoping will work. If so it will be the lowest maintenance design so far. Nothing sticking out. Let's hope it sucks!
On a side note, after todays 80 degree direct sunlight cooked my plane a bit, some serious delams showed up on the nose hatch. Go figure, It's the only part I never post cured and using the green foam it didn't like the heat. That's gonna take some work to re-finish. ugh. no pics sorry
