So until the ambient temp is 95 degrees and HIGH UV, it's only estimating at this point what the surface temps will be. However, a relative temp to the grey surface will give a good indication of what colors are safe and which ones aren't. I was shocked to see that NONE of the vinyl strips were warmer than the surrounding grey primer. In Fact, the Brushed Steel was the coolest of all at about 20 degrees cooler than the grey primer at all times. If the temp is linear then that would mean the steel brushed wrap would only heat up to about 140!!!!!! Amazing. Paint is NO Longer an option for this EZ :).
