Spent almost 4 hours just sanding the top cowling. I purposely put a LOT of filler on the top to avoid several rounds of filler and it worked out really well as I will only need one more round. However, I'll be using Micro from here on out. I weighed the cowling after sanding it down and found that it has 2 lbs of filler. UGH. I can only imagine how many pounds are on the wings! Makes me think a wing made in a mold would be a TON lighter. Micro, Skim coats, and primer coming up soon.
