Brief Description:  Gaps n Primer prep

Under high G Maneuvers, the Long EZ wing is known to move a LOT. It is Critical that a minimum 1/16" gap exists between the wing and fuselage all the way around. I went a little over this to about 3/32 for insurance as I plan to really yank and bank this bird. I did this by bonding a piece of 80 grit sand paper to my metal ruler and pressing it between the gap. This also helps protect the side you DON'T want sanded. I'm not spending too much time making perfectly straight lines as I will need to add filler along this line to flush out the fit after rigging the airplane to fly straight.
Next I took 80 grit, then 180 grit to the vortilons and surrounding area in prep for primer. I KNOW there are areas to fill, but if I hit it all with primer first, I can then see ALL the areas that need filler and save time not filling several times.
