Brief Description:  these fingers are Ready for paint

Nothing like 10 hours of sanding while crouched down in a ball in the back seat, jamming your finger tips and 150 grit into the tightest places on earth..... in fact, let's take a moment of silence for all 10 fingers that suffered today.........ok.
I must say, my buddy James Bailey came by with his new Varieze on a trailer and what a PUMP UP! Nothing better than seeing friends get excited about canards and knowing that you will be flying in formation together soon! This fall is gonna be AWESOME!
Today, I didn't get as far as I hoped but I got as far as I could in 10 hours. I first test fitted the panel plexiglass to make all necessary sanding changes and found that I needed quite a bit of sanding for a good flush fit. Done. I then sanded down all of the corner radiused filler that was added. The front seat took maybe 2 hours. The back was the giant 8 hours. I made my way through the turtledeck and seat back in painful 30 minute stages. I felt like an old man after crawling out of the back seat every 30. lol. Not sure how the "bigger" boys do this. LOL.
Anyway, I was able to completely sand from nose to tail and wipe down everything with soap and water tonight. That's huge. I also test fitted every panel for proper clearances and fitting.
Tomorrow will be acetone wipe, taping off and painting absolutely the entire interior in hammered black brush on paint. This interior is confidently 95% perfect in contour so I'm in for a BIG smile tomorrow night :) BOY am I and my fingers glad to be done with this!!!!!!!!
