My day got started late. Like 2pm late. had a good morning though so I was ready to work. I started by giving the entire body an acetone wipe down to remove any oil, grease, or blush from the primer so that I could directly apply spot filler without sanding. This primer takes 3 days for a FULL cure so there will still be some chemical bonding going on. After filling a gazillion pin holes and low spots I started blocking with 80 grit. The primer blocked down really nice and so did the Z-Grip, so even though I didn't really feel like blocking it all down tonight, the forward progress gave me some motivation to keep on keeping on. I ended the night with the body, ready for a few more spot fill repairs and a good soap and water bath. The Black primer had a really good thickness to it with only 3 coats so it helped a LOT. I'm positive the next round of black primer will be the last and I'll be flipping a half grey bird this weekend. :)
