Brief Description:  Final Canopy primer

The final block sanding was finished up and the visible pin holes filled. I did find a very intersting low spot however. Just aft of the canopy glass I couldn't see anything, but when running my hands over the area I could feel a very noticeable low spot. Well It turns out that it was both a low spot and a high spot right next to each other. I found this when I had sanded all the way down to the carbon and still felt a low spot just next to it. 2 rounds of Z-grip later I was able to contour the area free of low/high spots. NOW she is ready for final primer :D
I was getting runs on my last 2 primer coats and decided to check out the needle and found it turned out almost double what it should be. I quickly reset it to 1 turn out and tested it again on the brown paper. MUCH better and allows me to move a lot slower now, giving me more control. I sprayed the first 2 coats light and about 20 minutes apart. I then came back after 30 minutes and layed down a Real thick 3rd coat. The way I see it, I will be sanding this coat from 600 grit all the way to 3000 like the wings and accidently cutting through to filler would be a real bummer. Therefore after sanding I'm sure Ill have at least the first coat still there. Of Course my intent will NOT be to remove material but only to bring everything to an even smooth surface sheen.
